What is an Economical Sports Floor?

Blue circle icon with three dollars signs and the left one in green indicating an economically priced floor

Economical Sports Floor

Economical sports floor from Horner Sports FlooringSports flooring is expensive. It is an investment. We recognize that not every customer has a budget to get the best possible floor system. We also recognize that not every customer needs the best possible floor system. So it is vitally important to understand what makes one floor more expensive than another.

Unless you are purchasing a ProKing® portable basketball floor, your new floor will essentially be assembled on site. Components will be delivered and skilled craftsmen will install the floor. Depending on the floor you choose, the number and type of components will vary. This affects the manufacturing costs and may impact shipping costs. This will also affect the time and cost to install the floor. More advanced and complicated floors take longer to install. Economical sports floors from Horner Sports Flooring provide safe, durable surfaces for competition.

Some floor systems, in order to meet specific standards (DIN, EN, PUR, etc.), have undergone rigorous testing and certification. This adds cost. Or, the floor system my be designed with specific enhancements like high load bearing, high air flow, etc. These also add cost.

But lets make one thing clear, Horner Sports Flooring does not sell floor systems that are “good enough”. Every economical sports floor sold by Horner Sports Floor is the best in its price point. The maple on top of an economical sports floor is the same as that found on our high performance Zenith systems. Aesthetically, they are identical. As for performance, they are all designed to exceed customer expectations.
