INDUSTRY EXPERTS
Horner has used technical experts, recognized throughout the industry in the development of both its products and services. Such relationships include participation in industry recognized associations. Such organizations and associations include the MFMA – Maple Flooring Manufacturers Association, FIBA – International Basketball Federation and USSL – United States Sports Surfaces Laboratory. Key Horner personnel have held leadership positions on the board of directors and sub-committees of the MFMA. Additionally, Horner is a member of the FIBA Study Centre, a group tasked with setting quality and performance standards for the surfaces used for the sport of basketball for international competition around the world. Further, Horner has had members of its technical services and sales departments serve on committees of ASTM to aid in the development of performance standards for sports surfaces. Horner has long-held a position of leadership in product development within the industries in which it competes.
