In fact Horner began producing hardwood flooring the same year James Naismith invented basketball, 1891. However, basketball isn't the only sport flooring surface that Horner provides. In addition to being able to offer other-than-wood products for typical indoor athletic uses, synthetic options are also available for free weight, locker room, veterinary and warehouse applications, as well as exterior uses such as spikeable track and field surfaces, animal housing and other areas where non-slip, wear resistant installations are required.
